Come Learn More About Me!

Hello there friends! As you've (probably) read my name's Alyssa. I live in Santa Clarita (which is really really close to LA), and I'm going into my junior year of high school. I go to a very small K-12 school, which I've been going to all my life, and I'm the oldest of my two siblings, who also attend the same school as me. As you can probably tell from this site, my favortie color is purple (whether is be pastel, dark, or just a normal shade). Below I shall rant about the things I love.

Now enough with the basics. As you can probably tell from my Glitch profile, I am a HUGE Studio Ghibli fan (if you have no idea what that is, go get an HBO Max free trial and see it for yourself). I was raised on these movies and recently I have fallen back in love with these movies. They are very wholesome, yet some people think they may be wierd, but each to their own I guess. I am a Studio Ghibli stan, and even love it more than Disney movies, though that's probably because I've grown up with these movies haha.

I also have a passion for helping out my community. I do some occassional volunteer works, but mainly I help by serving on the Student Leader Counsil (aka: SLC for short) at my school. Here, we plan all of the school's big events and sometimes help raise money for the school. Another fun thing about SLC is that we set up and run the school's annual carnival. I was also part of CSF (don't ask me what it stands for; I think it's California something something). We did a bunch of little projects and give out snacks (donuts, juice, muffins, you name it) during the week of midterms and finals. Recently this year, I started tutoring in algebra and Spanish, so that's been a cool experience as well. :)

I also am a lover of DnD (aka: Dungeons & Dragons). I got into it in the fall of last year. Someone reached out and asked if I would be interested, and obviously I said yes. And I have been in love with it ever since.

I know a bunch of people are big on plants, but unfortunately, I only have one, and it's a baby succulent. His name is Kaku and he is a fairly tall boi in comparison to other succulents of his type.

Can we talk about music for a second? I am all over the place when it comes to music. One day I'll be jammin' to Panic! at the Disco, and the next I'll be vibin' to some chill lofi. I'm also a fan of Cavetown, an indie pop artist that I've been listening to for over a year. Go check him out here and/or here and show him so love, cause this soft boi deserves it.
